Hm I am clearly not so active on this blog as I hoped. Somehow the more I am active in yoga, the less I am on the internet. And to add things up I found a non published blog.... lol
Alright so about yoga... Although Vinyasa is quit fysical challenge (and I ain't in a bad shape) I am starting to loose weight. While, as you might have read, my goal was to gain some. This kinda made me look at my dieet, and I found out it wasn't close to sufficient. The healthy dieet means I don't get enough callories inside. Which one could easily help by eating even more bread with cheese or stock up some extra yoghurt. Yet as I am lactose intollerant and can't really handle glutes very well it's a totally different game. So these days my bag is filled with soy yoghurt, salads, fruit, shakes and glute free bread. (see recipies)
I actually skipped a few yoga classes, a few weeks ago the public transport didn't work so I had to run for my yoga class. As a young boy I tried to jump a fence and ended up as an old man laying on the pavement. I wasn't able to stretch my knee properly or put to much weight on it. So I bailled out and had some days off. I picked it up again last monday. Sadly my entire schedule was changed. Somehow there is something yogi about being able to adjust to new situations... but eventhou I am capable of adjusting, my job isn't as flexible. So I ended up in an advanced class of Vinyasa, which according to my tutor I should be able to do. Well... it's either the few weeks in Egypt or the lack of sleep, or my lack of practising, or I am simply just not that good, but I could only do half. And it's not all about strength it's about controling that strength. So you'll have to mantain postures long and be able to move slowly within balancing movements. Anyhow I still have some sore musculs since last monday, so it should be good for my body... somehow...
